Please DO NOT use the wood on the property except in case of emergency. ⭐The downstairs bedroom has a curtain that closes for privacy. 1. We ask that guests remove their shoes when entering the house. 2. Guests that utilize the kayaks (2), stand up paddleboard (1) or rowboat are required to sign a liability waiver before taking them out. 3. Please make sure all propane tanks are fully turned off after use. 4. Please cover the outdoor furniture after use. 5. Since we're on a septic system do not flush anything but small amounts of toilet paper down the toilet. 6. No outside visitors or overnight guests without prior approval from your host. 7. Non-prescription drugs are NOT allowed anywhere inside or around the property.

Jeff's Beautiful Vashon Island Hideaway was exactly as advertised- and then some! In a Beautiful location above the water and featuring stunning environs and sunrises, the house is immaculate and boasts all of the amenities you could ask for. For example, Jeff left coffee and grinder, cups, water kettle and even instructions for brewing the perfect cup... and that was only a beginning. Bedding, linens, towels, dishes, and everything else was perfectly placed and easy to use and find! Perfectly appointed, this retreat has all the luxuries that one needs at one's fingertips and beautifully set out. The land, the beaches, the water (only a few feet away!) and the well-lit, bright interior and exterior spaces were perfect. My wife and I enjoyed the stay, were very comfortable, and loved the location, privacy, and beautiful setting. We will be back!

A hidden gem on the Eastern shore of Vashon Island, a short distance from the ferry to Southworth / Fauntleroy and close to downtown shopping and eateries. Although, with a kitchen as well apportioned as this one, you may well decide to shut in one night (we did!). The stairs are real but nothing to fear, just pack smartly and take your time. Being so close to the water, ducks, gulls and away from the neighbors makes the trek worth it 100x over.

Had a relaxing weekend on Vashon in this beautiful home. Jeff was always responsive and kind - when we had some hot water and flush issues, he came up and fixed it for us quickly. The home is around 7 mins drive from main town area, so not a bad drive at all. We were a little scared of the steep glass stairs in the living room and the 54 steps to the house, with our 2 year old but we had no accidents and everyone had a wonderful stay. I showed the photos to my friends and some of them have already asked for links to book it soon! We will definitely be returning again in the summer. Thank you for hosting us!

The home was exactly as described. Breathtaking and peaceful. I could fall asleep to the waves lapping outside my window; the space was bright and pleasant. There were lots of games, and we had a cozy wood stove to enjoy in the evenings.
